Mary Wagley Copp dove into writing for children after a career in nonprofit management consulting and documentary filmmaking. Her debut picture book was inspired by her production of a film about refugee resettlement. WHEREVER I GO is illustrated by Munir Mohammed, published by Atheneum (S&S) and due Spring 2020. She and her husband have 3 grown children and live on an organic farm in Westport, MA., where she walks in the woods with her rescue puppy, collects eggs from her hens and weaves baskets.
